Buying a used graphics card from a classifieds site can save money, but there's no warranty, no testing and a real risk of ex-mining cards.
What "renewed" means
A renewed GPU is inspected, cleaned, re-pasted where needed and stress tested for at least two hours. It's then graded Excellent, Very Good or Good, and covered by a 12-month warranty.
How to spot an ex-mining card
- Yellowed or discoloured thermal pads
- Fans with heavy wear but a clean shroud
- Modified BIOS or memory clocks
